Ali is a new Planner and first joined the Sa̱nala team as a student intern at the start of 2022. Her planning project portfolio is constantly growing; some projects she has contributed to include the International Marine Protected Areas Congress 5 (IMPAC5) Indigenous Events Coordination, the Taku River Tlingit First Nation Joint Visioning Process, and the White River First Nation Comprehensive Community Plan. Ali recently completed a Master of Community and Regional Planning degree with a concentration in Indigenous Community Planning from the University of British Columbia, after spending her past life in the nonprofit industry. Her free time is mostly spent in the woods and attempting to keep up with her growing puppy Sunny.
